This peel contains Papain, which is an active enzyme found in papayas that helps to dissolve oil and dead skin cells. It also helps reduce blemishes and soften the skin. The solution and powder mix creates an excellent non-abrasive facial treatment. Treatment helps to speed up the natural skin renewal process, leaving skin smooth and supple. This kit includes enough for 6 or more peels, 1 set of sponges, and a 2 oz. Mask formulated for your skin type.
Please follow directions :
- Cleanse skin with your usual cleanser and pat dry. If you have been on the products for a long while and are not sensitive, you may use your bead/exfoliant product very LIGHTLY to cleanse your skin for extra exfoliation.
- Take a clean, dry container, mix 1 tsp. of the Enzyme Powder together with 1 to 1 1/2 tsp. Papaya Enzyme Solution, and stir until completely smooth. Mixture should resemble thinned out mayonnaise.
- Apply mixture with fingertips evenly over the face and neck. Leave on for at least 10 minutes. Try not to move your face while the enzymes are drying. You will feel a pulling sensation as the mask dries, this is normal.
- After 10 min. hold a warm, damp washcloth over your face for several seconds to soften peel, wipe what you can away, and remove the rest with warm, damp sponges. Rinse well with warm water. Pat dry.
- At this time you can apply the Mask included in your kit, if desired, for an at home mini-facial. Apply Mask 1/8" thick and leave on for at least 10 minutes. Remove the mask the same way you removed the Papaya Enzymes above.
- Pat face dry and proceed with your normal a.m. or p.m. routine. Peels can be done 1x weekly.
